Let’s take a moment to go back to the beginning of your career at our company. Do you remember the feelings you had when you first walked through the doors of Rödl & Partner five years ago?

Looking back, it is hard to believe that five years have already passed. When I first walked through the doors of Rödl & Partner, I realized I was starting to work at an international company – exactly what I had aimed for and wanted. There were new challenges, new colleagues, new tasks, new clients. It was an exciting time, but also filled with fears – would I succeed? But as the saying goes: “The eyes fear, but the hands do.” I am very grateful to my managers and colleagues for their trust in me, their support, our teamwork, and the opportunities to learn and focus on self-improvement. I truly value that.

What does this five-year professional milestone mean to you personally?

It represents the development and improvement of my personal and professional skills, new challenges, new practices, and achievements. I truly appreciate it.

Which of your professional tasks or responsibilities do you find the most appealing?

I cannot really single out any tasks as being more or less appealing. Accounting is a vast ocean. You dive in headfirst – from basic bookkeeping to financial analysis. It allows you to analyze, build systems, maintain continuity, improvise when needed, or conversely, proceed cautiously and slowly, carefully calculating the optimal solution and making responsible decisions. I find everything in accounting interesting. And it is very satisfying when the debits and credits balance out.

Would you encourage young people to actively choose the accounting profession? Why?

Accounting is about numbers – it allows you to analyze, organize information, plan and make responsible decisions. You could even draw an equals sign between accounting and legal literacy. Being an accountant is not just about finance and accounting knowledge; it also involves legal sujects, interpreting laws and having discussions. All of this is useful in everyday life, too. Life is like accounting - everything must be balanced! I would encourage young people who have analytical skills, value precision and possess a strong sense of responsibility to choose this profession. Today, there are many ways to grow and learn – all you need is the desire, determination and energy.

What main motto or favorite quote guides you in your professional and personal life?

At a gym I go to, I once read the quote “If I can do it, so can you.” It is natural for people to be afraid – we fear new challenges not only in our personal lives but also professionally. Fear is just uncertainty – the moment when you do not yet see the result. But results matter, both in sports and at work. Once you have achieved one, you move forward – step by step.

Describe yourself in five words from a professional point of view.

I will not tell you anything new that my colleagues have not already mentioned – I am responsible, meticulous, diplomatic, sometimes demanding (I really cannot tolerate disorder), but more often helpful (depending on the complexity of the situation).

Over your five years at Rödl & Partner Lithuania, have there been any special, memorable moments you would like to share?

I cannot really pinpoint or single anything out. I truly value my work at Rödl & Partner, my colleagues, and the opportunities I have been given. I always look forward to company events – especially the Christmas celebrations. I am thankful for the new experiences I have gained working with this team.

What would you wish for yourself in the next five years?

Time has flown by so fast, but looking back, I really value my time working at Rödl & Partner. Stability, security and systemization are very important to me. I would wish myself strength, new emotions, new tasks, new experiences – so that I can continue creating value together with our company for many more years.
