​Nilanjan Nag is the Head of Transfer Pricing and Tax Strategy at RÖDL​ in Vilnius, Lithuania. He advises multinational and local companies on transfer pricing strategy, global documentation, and international tax matters. His areas of expertise include the development of robust transfer pricing policies aligned with business models, management of global transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local File and Country-by-Country Reporting) in line with OECD BEPS requirements, as well as support in transfer pricing audits and disputes with tax authorities. Mr. Nag also advises on cross-border reporting obligations and risk assessments under DAC6.

Nilanjan holds a Master of Business Management (Finance) from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur, India, and a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Calcutta, India. He has also completed a Corporate Finance Certification at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) and has participated in advanced transfer pricing training programs, including at Vienna University.

He has more than 18 years of professional experience in transfer pricing and international taxation, including over a decade with Big Four firms Deloitte and PwC in India and Malaysia. Prior to joining Rödl & Partner, Mr. Nag headed the Transfer Pricing practice of PKF Global in Romania and led the firm’s Center of Excellence for Northern Europe.

Throughout his career, Nilanjan has advised multinational companies across various industries, including manufacturing, consumer goods, IT services, food and beverages, retail, packaging, and financial services. His work includes developing global transfer pricing frameworks, conducting DEMPE analyses, supporting transfer pricing audits, and contributing to Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) projects.

Mr. Nag regularly publishes articles on transfer pricing and delivers presentations and training sessions for professional audiences. He speaks English (bilingual) and Romanian (intermediate).
