Rödl & Partner Lithuania represented the shareholders of a company developing a wind farm project in Plungė district, Lithuania, in the sale of the company shares to Ignitis Renewables, the subsidiary of Ignitis Group.

Liudgardas Maculevičius, a highly-experienced renewable energy expert at Rödl & Partner Lithuania, advised the client within the entire transaction. The legal expert assisted the company in due diligence procedures, drafting of transaction documents, represented in negotiations and supported the client with other transaction related matters.

The potential capacity of acquired wind farm is up to 218 MW, whereas the new owner is planning to invest up to 300 million euros into this project.
