  • Associate Partner Eglė Pinaitė has presented at the Lithuanian Business Forum 2022, one of the major event for business representatives, professionals and experts in the country. Eglė's presentation covered the topics of the Great resignation and the great e-learning, as one of the major global changes in the labour market.
  • Rödl & Partner Lithuania in cooperation with the ​Lithuanian Business Confederation and Mykolas Romeris University hosted a conference “Modern business: social responsible approach towards the employees.” The event was accompanied with a ceremony of social responsible business awards. Marijus Šaras, Associate Lawyer, gave a presentation on the changes of employee-employer relations in a face of the pandemic. In addition, Marijus participated in a joint discussion on the CSR role and legal regulations.
  • Rödl & Partner Lithuania in cooperation with the Lithuanian Business Confederation hosted a webinar “Post-pandemic challenges: what business may expect within the upcoming 2022?”. Eglė Pinaitė and Mantas Mališauskas overviewed the core legal and tax issues to be taken into account by businesses before 2022.
  • Esmeralda Balode-Buraka LL.M, CPM attended the 12th Baltic and Nordic Energy Summit 2021 by sharing her extensive experience on opportunities for corporate PPAs including the view on the implementation status of RED II requirements in the Baltics and virtual PPAs as financial services.
  • Mantas Mališauskas, Internal Tax Division Leader, participated at the virtual Lithuanian Business Angel Network (LitBAN) pitch event by delivering a presentation on how to spot potential tax issues before it is too late. Mantas overviewed the common tax-related mistakes and provided his insights with  some practicalguidance in terms of the avoidance of the core tax inaccuracies.
  • In March, a cross-border webinar on public procurement law in Romania, the Ukraine, the Baltic States and  Poland was organized by Advantage Austria. Michael Manke, Associate Partner at Rödl & Partner Lithuania, shared his expertise by presenting on public procurement law in the Baltics.
  • Tobias Kohler, the head of Rödl & Partner offices in Belarus and Lithuania, attended the fourth German-Belarusian economic forum as a panelist on a topic "The Post-Corona era: the pandemic as the main driver of digitisation in Europe".  
  • Yulia Shershneva, Deputy Head of Accounting department, participated in an annual CFO Conference and introduced the audience with the most significant tips and tricks on how to remain an attractive finance professional in the era of robotization and digitisation.
  • In November, Rödl & Partner welcomed an international business society in the Branchentreffen Erneuerbare Energien - an annual event, dedicated to the renewable energy industry. Within ten consecutive years the event has turned into one of the leading conferences in the German-speaking world. The event offered a comprehensive platform for all industry players in order to exchange technological and market experience as well as to discuss the developments in the legal, fiscal and economic framework conditions in the respective countries. Tobias Kohler, the head of Rödl & Partner offices in Belarus and Lithuania, has represented the Baltic region by delivering a presentation „Headstart for renewable energy projects in the Baltics – success of German companies and important hints for upcoming auctions”.
  • The 21st Forum Global organized by Rödl & Partner took place on 21-24 September in a fully digital format. Tobias Kohler, Partner and the Head of Rödl & Partner Lithuania, delivered a presentation on the Baltic States as prime nearshoring location for German investors. The virtual regional fair attracted over 400 participants from various regions.
  • Webinar on tax optimization opportunities in the face of crisis, organized in cooperation with AHK. Mantas Mališauskas, Internal Tax Leader, emphasized the most significant tax optimization opportunities for businesses.
  • Joint webinar "The dilemma: to dismiss the CEO or let him/her work further?", held together with the Lithuanian Business Confederation and the recruitment agency "Master Class Lithuania".  Attorney at law Audrius Voveris presented the main legal aspects on TOP management dismissal.
  • Business breakfast in cooperation with the Lithuanian Business Confederation on tax and legal amendments 2020.
  • Intensive knowledge sharing session on relevant changes in insolvency law and tax field.
  • Tobias Kohler, Partner at Rödl & Partner in Lithuania and Belarus, participated in the Belarusian Business Forum and presented on Belarus and its' experiences with a new silk road as a logistic hub with proven infrastructure between East and West.
  • Partner Tobias Kohler presented on the complex cross-border deals in the 5th M&A Dialogue Event.
