Social responsibility

PrintMailRate-it

As an international professional services firm, we feel great responsibility resting upon us as accountants, auditors, lawyers, management and tax consultants, as well as actors within our society. Living up to this responsibility, we actively support one-off and long-term aid projects of national and international nature.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is one of the key areas of our culture. We permanently encourage our team to join different CSR initiatives that address key social and environmental issues. Alternatively, we also inspire our staff to work closely and find solutions that can help create a bigger positive impact.

Rödl & Partner Lithuania | Recent involvement in CSR initiatives:

  • "Let‘s be together 2023" – one of the biggest volunteering events in Lithuania – brought together 160 less fortunate kids from a number of Lithuanian foster homes as well as children from Ukraine to spend an unforgettable day of their lives. Rödl & Partner Lithuania, as a co-organizer of the event, was honored to be a part of this meaningful initiative. It is not about the charity itself but rather the goodwill that makes the vulnerable children feel important to someone by spending quality time together. The event also aims at educating kids, including the first aid and survival trainings.
  • Within pre-Christmas season, we started our friendship and co-operation with a local animal shelter “Tautmilės globa“. This time, our team donated mostly needed items to the animals. Keeping in mind that “giving is not just about making a donation but also about making a difference“, we decided to strengthen our cooperation by delegating our volunteers in various activities related to homeless animals welfare.
  • On 6 November, a CSR initiative “National Cake Day in Lithuania” took place at Rödl & Partner Lithuania. Our energetic team baked homemade pastries with a purpose to sell the delicacies to the rest of colleagues and donate the funds to the Association of Kids with Down Syndrom (2021).
  • Rödl & Partner’s Nordic-Baltic team challenged themselves in a step counting project "Walk from Stockholm to Lisbon“ (2021).  This is not only about health and wellness challenge but also about solidarity, team spirit, cooperation and goodwill. For every step we took, we collected money and contributed to the research of cancer.
  • Rödl & Partner Lithuania, being one of the long-term sponsors, contributed to the publishing of a collection of legal articles “Spring of Law 2021“, introduced by Vilnius University Faculty of Law Student's Scientific Society (2021).
  • Blood donation campaign "Giving blood saves lives".  Our team has donated blood to the National Blood Center in Vilnius, Lithuania (2019-2020).
  • Before the festive season, our team donated warm and cosy gifts to the socially vulnerable people at VA Caritas Laikinieji namai (2019).
  • Joint project of teambuilding and goodness.  During Christmas Party event our team has painted three artworks and sold them within the auction. The funds donated to the SOS Children's Villages Lithuania (2019).
  • Participation in a meaningful initiative "Išsipildymo akcija 2019". Our team baked cakes and other delicacies and sold them to the rest of our colleagues. All funds have been donated to sick children and kids from socially vulnerable families (2019).
  • We have donated computers to the Caritas Kids Day Care Center (2014).
