Tobias Kohler

​Tobias Kohler advises local and international businesses in the area of M&A and Corporate law, foreign direct investments as well as renewable energy issues and cross-border tax planning. 

 
Mr. Kohler acquired his legal degree at Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich, Germany. Subsequently, within 2001-2003 he performed legal clerkship (Rechtsreferendariat) at the Higher Regional Court Oberlandesgericht) in Munich, Germany.

 
At the beginning he has been working at Rödl & Partner Latvia (ZAB “RSP un Partneri), later on, in 2005, Mr. Kohler joined Rödl & Partner Lithuania (Kohler, Voveris ir partneriai). Additionally, in 2013 he joined Rödl & Partner Belarus office.

 
Mr. Kohler is an active member of numerous working groups, business associations and organizations, e.g. Lithuanian and Munich Bar Associations, German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce, German-Belarusian Business Club, Law and Taxes working group at the Representative Office of the German Economy in Belarus.

 
Additionally, Mr. Kohler is an author of numerous articles in international publications. He also gives lectures and delivers presentations on M&A, renewable energy, investment, tax optimization, German-Lithuanian, German-Belarusian business relations.

 
Within his extensive professional career, Mr. Kohler has advised a wide range of international businesses and led complex projects related to mergers and acquisitions, reorganization, new business and real estate fund establishment.
